YOUNG OR OLD (Kids or Adults)
with Malinda Kregowski
YOU’RE NEVER TO OLD OR YOUNG TO
Learn to ride Western or English! Master basic horsemanship with
experienced and qualified instructors. Learn to groom, tack, work
from the ground, lunge, and ride on a well-trained lesson horse or
pony. Then, advance to lead changes, lateral work and show grooming.
Horse and helmets provided. Boots required. Ages 6+

For over 10 years,
hundreds of horse crazy kids (and adults) have found a haven at
Equine Unlimited. From beginners, just learning how to tell
the head from the haunches, to experienced riders who want to gain
finesse and quality in their sport, Malinda Kregoski and her team of
qualified assistants offer exactly what's needed. Malinda is a
certified instructor with a varied and extensive history of horse
experience. She teaches both English and Western styles of
riding, specializing in Hunter/Jumper training. Patience and an
intelligent system of building on basics allow the timid and/or
novice rider to progress comfortable and confidently in a relaxed
atmosphere. More intensive instruction yields accelerated
progress and a challenging sport that demands the best from its
athletes, both human and equine. |
Our
Certified instructors provide private or group lessons.

The
team of excellent and beloved school horses ranges from reliable and
bombproof to show-worthy performance mounts; all are well trained
and well cared for. A wide variety of tack and equipment is
available, and students become proficient at all aspects of grooming
and saddling. Equine Unlimited also offers opportunities to
extend knowledge into all areas of horse management - feeding,
bathing, show grooming, blanketing, cleaning stalls, vet and farrier
visits, shots and worming, doctoring minor injuries and assessing
illness, trailering, equipment maintenance, etc.
Malinda also accompanies interested students to shows across the
west coast. Local schooling shows are a fun and valuable
experience for beginners, and the excitement and competitive
atmosphere of high caliber rated shows, including THE PEBBLE
BEACH CLASSIC, INDIO of the HITS circuit & THERMAL, is incomparable. They
also often attend clinics hosted by notable professionals, which are
great learning opportunities. |

Lessons for all ages and levels of
riding!

More
valuable even than the skills learned, however, is the personal
development that so often accompanies horseback riding. Being
able to communicate with such impressive animals builds confidence,
especially for the shy and timid. The many challenges and
successes within this discipline generate feelings of
accomplishment, of pride in a job well done. A horse's
surprising fragility and demanding care inevitably teach
responsibility- students are accountable for as much of the horse's
well being as is reasonable given their age and experience. As
with any activity, improvement is a result of practice and
dedication, which also teaches responsibility. The cherished
horse-rider partnership and the friendly, social atmosphere at the
barn, are draws that have captured the hearts and energies of
many Equine Unlimited horse-lovers. The young and old alike,
whether starting a life-long involvement or fulfilling a long-held
desire, benefit from this unique experience. |
